Abstract

Tujuan dan Sasaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas metode Kids Athletic (Forward Squad Jump) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan lompat jauh pada siswa kelas V di SDN Semparu. Penelitian ini berfokus pada hasil belajar psikomotor, afektif, dan kognitif, dengan menekankan pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman dan permainan untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan penguasaan keterampilan siswa.

Metode dan Bahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) berdasarkan model Kemmis dan McTaggart, yang terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Intervensi dilakukan dalam dua siklus, melibatkan 20 siswa berusia 10–11 tahun. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui rubrik penilaian psikomotor (menilai teknik), penilaian afektif (mengukur antusiasme dan disiplin), serta tes kognitif (menilai pemahaman teori). Analisis statistik menggunakan uji t berpasangan untuk membandingkan skor sebelum dan sesudah intervensi, dengan keberhasilan belajar dievaluasi berdasarkan Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM).

Hasil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kinerja siswa di semua aspek yang diukur. Persentase ketuntasan belajar kelas meningkat dari 55% (pra-intervensi) menjadi 80% (Siklus I) dan 90% (Siklus II). Rata-rata nilai siswa meningkat dari 64 (pra-tes) menjadi 70 (Siklus I) dan 78 (Siklus II). Observasi menunjukkan peningkatan koordinasi motorik, kepercayaan diri, kerja sama tim, dan motivasi. Dibandingkan dengan metode pembelajaran tradisional, pendekatan ini lebih efektif dalam mendorong partisipasi aktif, umpan balik langsung, dan keterlibatan siswa yang lebih dalam.

Kesimpulan. Penelitian ini mengonfirmasi bahwa metode Kids Athletic (Forward Squad Jump) sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan lompat jauh dan hasil belajar siswa. Temuan ini mendukung integrasi strategi pembelajaran aktif dalam kurikulum pendidikan jasmani. Penelitian lebih lanjut disarankan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak jangka panjang dan penerapan metode ini pada cabang olahraga lain guna meningkatkan penguasaan keterampilan dan keterlibatan siswa.
